Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey in combat sports at the age of 14. In addition to BJJ training, she also trained in boxing, wrestling and kickboxing. At age 18, Ladd made her amateur debut at WCFC. Ladd built on this victory and went on a 3-fight victory streak in Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents inside the first round of all fights. Following that, she travelled to WCFC to win again, beating Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian, Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia defeated Aspen and swept her away in an unanimous vote to remove an ominous mark on her amateur record. Ladd rebounded from the loss to beat Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight one. Aspen made her pro debut in 2015 when she signed as a player with Invicta FC. Invicta 11 saw her slay Ana Carolina Vidal to score TKO victory in the opening round. Invicta fought her at Bantamweight and was victorious via submission armbar in the 2nd round. Aspen's dazzling wrestling ability took down McGill in the first round, and she was able to end her in the third round by TKO (elbows and punches). Aspen continued to fight Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 with a weight that was 138.1lb. Ladd was not able make the weight, however, Aspen took the victory and defeated Hoy via TKO. Invicta FC21 was her final bout in the organization. She defeated Sijara Ebanks by unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She defeated Lina by grounding and pounding her before prevailing by TKO in second round. She maintained her dominance, and won another victory over Tonya Avinger at UFC 229 with her next bout. Ladd beat Evinger by a punch in the initial round, she was awarded a Bonus Performance of the Night. Her first major fight at her debut fight at the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Both fighters fought one of the most competitive fights that Ladd beat by a unanimous decision. The two fighters each received an award called the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie was able to finish the fight in just 16 seconds and finish Ladd and her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya lost by Ladd in the third round of UFC 7.7 on ESPN. For a rematch she took on Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. The fight was a unanimous decision.
