Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
My child played around in a playpen while I sat for 12 hours, sanding the floor and removing wallpaper. Ha! We were getting closer to finishing, but we were a long distance away. It was going to take lots of time and money and shopping my favorite to furnish this home. To keep within the budget, I started going with my boys to estate sales in search of diamonds. Every week, we would go through estate and garage sales on Thursdays and Saturdays and purchase a variety of antique and brand new furniture. I then spent my weekdays painting and sanding out in the driveway. What I saw looked something like... This is when my desire to repair furniture was born. It didn't matter if the home was equipped. I had an area at the market, where I would sell objects. It was possible to expand the area because I had plenty of pieces that I needed. My house was transformed into a space where I would host open houses, where up to 1,000 people could view the things on my first floor and purchase the items. It was here that my business Growing Days was born. The business I was running was growing and my family was growing too. Being a new mom I was able to strike the right way to be able to begin my own business as well as be a good mother. Growing Days was the obvious decision. In 2013, my beautiful daughter Nora came along our 4th child. My business was going well but I wanted a rest. I made the decision to take a break and stay at home, with my kids. In the beginning, this was what I wanted. However, after just a couple of minutes, my phone began to ring. I was getting messages from individuals asking for help in home improvement and design of interiors. The majority of people who contacted me were from those who came to my house at one of my furniture open house events. I began taking on customers one by one taking my time however it wasn't time before I was running several accounts, and I was operating a complete home renovation business. There is a good chance that I would have been laughing if someone had told me the company was to become the premise of an upcoming television show in the DIY Network. Actually, I smile at times when I think of it.
